The Sexually Harassed Barista

A conversation I had today:

Me: “Would you like whipped cream?”

Him: “No, I’m watching my figure.”

Me: “Got ya. Me, too.”

Him: “You? Really? You’ve got a beautiful body.”

Me: “Thank you.”

Him: “I bet it looks even better in the shower.”

Me: “Don’t. Don’t say that. That was inappropriate.”

Him: “Was it? I guess it’s OK to think, but not to say.”

Me: “Exactly. I know it was meant to be a compliment, but you should have quit while you were ahead.”

Sometimes I forget people need to be told these things. But sometimes they do.
